'Towards Another Summer' has been recommended a lot, so I may give that a go at some point. I just thought that once you got over the initial premise of this book, there wasn't a lot there - very descriptive, but... I don't know, just not for me.
Don't know about my Vlogging though, I still think it looks a bit wooden when I replay it ;)

I love Janet Frame's writing. She used a lot of different techniques in order to create a new style. There's art, as well as craft, in her work.
Maybe you will like her later books. I think Faces in the Water was an early effort, and yeah, it deals with a difficult subject.
